Whenever I have a get-together nearby, I always stay here. The pet-friendly size, the bath size, the feel of the Room, and the cleanliness— even down to the amenities—are perfect for me. Of course, the front desk staff are also very friendly. Thank you as always.

The large public bath was wonderful, and I used it many times. Even after returning to my cool Room, I was sweating a lot and felt like my circulation had really improved. I drank the mineral water provided in the Room, then went back for another bath. The bed was very comfortable; while lying down watching TV, I fell asleep early and slept soundly until morning. The bed was great, but I think it was thanks to the large public bath as well. I also loved how quiet the large public bath was—no music at all. Complete silence. It was perfect and very relaxing. Breakfast—the vegetable shabu-shabu—was incredibly delicious. A staff member told me, “The tofu is delicious,” so I tried it, and it really was amazing. The ginger and green onion condiments were also excellent. Thank you for recommending it. The salad was fresh and crisp, and the chikuzen-ni (simmered vegetables) was tasty too. With plenty of vegetables plus the large public bath, the bed, and breakfast—these three made me feel like my body had been restored. It’s a bit disappointing that YouTube can’t be watched on the TV, but everything else was great. I also used the in-Room bathroom; although it’s a unit bath, the tub had been cleaned to a smooth shine, which made me happy—I could bathe very comfortably.

I had plans in Yokohama over the weekend, and since there was a chance the Shinkansen might be suspended due to the typhoon, I made an Accommodation Reservation here for the night before, just in case. However, just minutes before Shin-Yokohama, an earthquake occurred along the line and the Shinkansen service was suspended. An announcement said there was no estimate for resumption, and it truly didn’t seem like we would be moving anytime soon. Thinking I might not arrive at the Hotel until late at night or even early morning, I contacted you to explain the situation. You kindly told me to take care and that arriving at any time would be fine, which really put my mind at ease. When I finally arrived and checked in, your warm words—“You must be tired; please rest well”—were truly comforting. Unfortunately, because of the weather I couldn’t enjoy the view from the Room on the 31st floor that you had prepared for me, but I’ll look forward to it next time I visit Yokohama.
