I stayed at this Hotel to visit my son and his wife who live in Yokohama, and to meet friends in Ikebukuro. It was very convenient, close to the station and easy to get to Tokyo as well as Shin-Yokohama and Yokohama. Although I arrived early, I was shown to my Room as it was already prepared. It was a single Room, but spacious and spotlessly clean, with a wide bed that made my stay very comfortable. Amenities were available for pickup on the front desk floor and were well stocked. The breakfast buffet offered a great variety and everything was delicious. I would like to stay at this Hotel again on my next trip to the Kanto area.

Tatami with beds, very relaxing. Traditional hospitality with tabi socks provided. The bath on the 18th floor offers a stunning night view of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building from the open-air bath. Breakfast exceeded expectations with New Year's osechi dishes. About 80% of guests were from overseas, but everyone had good manners, and the bath area was kept clean. There is a 7-Eleven convenience store across the street.

The large public bath was wonderful—I used it many times. Even after returning to my cool Room, I was sweating a lot and felt like my circulation had really improved. I drank the mineral water provided in the Room and then went back for another bath. The bed was very comfortable; while lying down watching TV, I ended up falling asleep early and slept soundly until morning. The bed was great, but I think it was thanks to the large public bath. I also loved how quiet the large public bath was—no music at all. Complete silence. It was perfect and very relaxing. Breakfast—the vegetable shabu-shabu—was incredibly delicious. A staff member told me, “The tofu is delicious,” so I tried it, and it really was amazing. The ginger and green onion condiments were also excellent. Thank you for the recommendation. The salad was fresh and crisp, and the chikuzen-ni (simmered vegetables) was tasty too. With plenty of vegetables plus the large public bath, bed, and breakfast—these three made me feel like my body had been restored. It’s a shame that YouTube can’t be watched on the TV, but everything else was great. I also used the in-Room bathroom; although it’s a unit bath, the tub was spotlessly cleaned and smooth, which made me happy. It felt very comfortable to use.

This was my first time using Booking. I made a last-minute request to have champagne set up in the Room so I could enjoy it with someone special, and I truly appreciate your kind support. The Room was spacious, and both the bed and sofa had a comfortable firmness and cushioning, which helped me relax. Next time, I look forward to staying on a clear day and seeing Mt. Fuji.

I stayed here to celebrate my son’s birthday and mine. Even though I mistakenly made a Reservation for a twin room instead of a double, they kindly changed it for me. We also received celebratory chocolates, and as always, The Ritz makes me feel elegant every time I visit. The staff and the food were outstanding. I would like to come again next year. I had plans in Yokohama over the weekend, and since there was a chance the Shinkansen might be suspended due to the typhoon, I made an Accommodation Reservation here for the night before, just in case. However, just minutes before Shin-Yokohama, an earthquake occurred along the line and the Shinkansen service was suspended. An announcement said there was no estimate for resumption, and it truly didn’t seem like we would be moving anytime soon. Thinking I might not arrive at the Hotel until late at night or even early morning, I contacted you to explain the situation. You kindly told me to take care and that arriving at any time would be fine, which really put my mind at ease. When I finally arrived and checked in, your warm words—“You must be tired; please rest well”—were truly comforting. Unfortunately, because of the weather I couldn’t enjoy the view from the Room on the 31st floor that you had prepared for me, but I’ll look forward to it next time I visit Yokohama.
