I previously stayed here with my 4-year-old daughter, and while I was a little nervous about our first trip with a young child, we had a wonderful time—delicious meals and a clean Room, and we were very satisfied throughout our stay. This time, my husband was able to join us. The meals were different from last time but just as delicious as ever, and since we chose the largest Room, my daughter was thrilled. What made me especially happy was that the washing area in the women’s bath has been expanded! All of the staff were very kind, and we had a comfortable stay. We will definitely stay again as a family.

This was my first time staying at the R9 Hotel. As it is the largest Room, it has a prefab-like exterior rather than a container. Up to four guests can stay, but there are only two double beds, which feels like too few beds for the size of the Room. The toilet is right next to the dining table, so I was concerned about odors. The sink is set up for light cooking, but it would have been nice to have tableware such as glass cups. When you open the entrance door, you’re right at the parking lot, which makes loading and unloading luggage easy, but the inside of the Room is fully visible, so it would have been better to have a partition. I was happy that we could get a free frozen bento meal. I’d like to stay again.

They kindly explained the check-in process. I thought I wouldn’t be able to use the large public bath because the women’s hours were early evening and late at night, but they gave me a bath additive as a gift, so I was able to enjoy a relaxing bath in the Room. The Room was full of beds, but since I was only sleeping there, it wasn’t an issue. The bed was very comfortable! The table was large enough for snacks and such. It was a very clean Room and I had a comfortable stay! I signed up for breakfast on the day of check-in. The curry and croissants were great! The white rice was delicious too! Based on Reviews, I was worried about how small the Room would be and about the large public bath, but I had no complaints at all!

This is a repeat stay. Every year, avoiding the Obon season, I travel to Moka City to visit family graves, then stop by here on the way back to Kanagawa. This Hotel is calming and relaxing, with soothing views of Bannaji Temple. It’s quiet, and although breakfast doesn’t have a huge variety of side dishes, it’s delicious and satisfying. I will stay again next year. Thank you in advance.

I was impressed by the view from the 10th-floor room—seeing the familiar scenery around Ota Station I always use felt completely different. The self-serve coffee available from 6:30 a.m. was much appreciated. I checked in at 10:00 p.m. and it was a short stay, but I was able to relax comfortably. Thank you very much. (I rated it 3 stars because I did not use the Onsen.)

The large public bath also had many open-air baths, which was great, but the Room also had an open-air bath, so it was wonderful to soak at night and again early in the morning. Even after checkout, we could still use the large public bath, and we were given fresh towels at the front desk, so we were very satisfied. There is a restaurant for dinner, but breakfast is bring-your-own only; there is a 7-Eleven right in front of the property, so we used that. I wish there had been a Plan with an 11:00 checkout.

I stay here whenever I visit Saitama. It’s very convenient right in front of the station, and the property is well cleaned throughout, so I’m satisfied. I also appreciate the senior discount. I’ll stay again.

This was my first time using it. I have used nearby chain Hotels several times, but I chose this one because it is closer to my destination. It was very good. Above all, the response of the front desk staff was excellent. Also, I enjoyed both dinner and breakfast as they were delicious. If there is an opportunity, I would like to use it again.

I think the Facility and cleanliness are good. However, I arrived before check-in time, so I spoke to the front desk and waited seated nearby until the scheduled time. Even when it was time, no one called out to me. The staff were chatting among themselves the whole time. There was also no explanation that towels for the public bath were provided in the Room. If they are going to give a lifeless, monotone explanation, then a self check-in machine would be fine. They should learn from front desk staff at other Hotel properties. Other than the front desk staff, there were no issues.

The building is old and shows some signs of age in places, but it is well cleaned and did not feel unpleasant. Breakfast seemed to be cooked on the spot, and considering the price, it was satisfying and very tasty. On the other hand, the Room was a bit small, and I had to move the chair each time I walked through. Personally, I think single beds rather than a double bed would have made better use of the space and been more comfortable.

I stayed here on a business trip. The staff were courteous and the breakfast was good, so overall I was mostly satisfied. As the Facility feels historic, there was a slight odor around the plumbing, and I noticed limescale inside the kettle, which made me hesitant to use it. If more detailed cleaning had been done, I would have rated it even higher. Still, I was generally satisfied and would definitely like to stay again if I have the opportunity next time.

It was very quiet and I slept well. The Room was easy to use and comfortable. It was very cold outside, but the Room heating could be turned up comfortably—great!

I stayed in a double room. It was quiet, clean, and very comfortable. Since the railway tracks are nearby, you may feel a slight vibration when trains pass, but it wasn’t bothersome. Amenities do not include makeup remover or skincare products, so women should be sure to bring their own.

The front desk staff were polite, kind, and provided clear explanations. We were offered American coffee at check-in and check-out, and it was refreshing and delicious. The Room was also very clean. I would like to stay here again when I visit Ashikaga.

I stayed here while visiting temples and shrines around Kumagaya and Fukaya, then heading to Nagatoro. The Room was clean, and the bath area was spacious—overall a very nice Hotel. Breakfast was also delicious. I would gladly stay here again.

While looking for a Hotel near Kumagaya Station, I chose this one because it was the cheapest and had great Reviews. I expected a somewhat retro Hotel, but since I was mainly focused on price for just one night, I didn’t have any particular expectations. However, just as the Reviews said, the moment I entered the Hotel it smelled wonderful, and all of the staff (mostly older women) were truly kind and pleasant. Their thoughtful attention and friendly words came so naturally that I was genuinely impressed!! The Room was more spacious than I expected and very well cleaned, so the age of the building didn’t bother me at all. I’ve stayed at several Hotels in front of or near the station before, but if you’re staying with No Meals Included, this is by far my top recommendation! I probably won’t be going to Kumagaya again, but I wish I had stayed at this Hotel sooner. Every staff member I met in the Hotel left a great impression—such a wonderful place. Thank you very much!

I stayed with my wife and daughter. There is a parking lot next to the Hotel, with direct access. Great location—right outside the Hotel there are a convenience store, restaurants, and izakayas nearby. The front desk staff member was friendly and helpful. The explanations were also thorough. Our Room was on the 5th floor of the annex building. It had four beds, and the bed width was generous and comfortable. The toilet, shower, and bathtub were separated, which was very convenient. We ordered breakfast; the rice was just okay, but the curry was delicious. There were no soup options. It’s nice that the drip coffee machine is available 24 hours a day.

The Room is always clean, and I was very satisfied. The breakfast is also delicious, and this is my go-to Accommodation.

Conveniently located near the station. The front desk staff were courteous, and I appreciated the calm atmosphere. The room was also clean. I didn’t have breakfast because I had an early morning, but I’ve had lunch here before and it was delicious, so next time I’d like to stay with breakfast included.
