Known as the last onsen of Kanto, this property is located deep in the mountains, surrounded by pristine nature. To reach the property, you can either hike along a trail or use the dedicated shuttle service. The guest rooms, newly opened in 2023, feature private open-air baths, offering a secluded and intimate space. Additionally, there are two mixed-gender baths and a women-only open-air bath, providing an exceptional onsen experience amidst the sounds and scents of nature. The cuisine, boasting the use of seasonal local ingredients, is also a highlight.

Opened in 2019, this small two-story wooden property is nestled across a small river and surrounded by forest. Guests can fully enjoy 100% natural onsen. Nearby, there are the historic Yumoto Onsenji Temple and Yumoto Onsen Shrine, and the area around Lake Yunoko is a relaxing spot with many summer flowers and ancient trees. Dinner features seasonal flavors from Nikko, including Tochigi beef, Nikko char, wild boar "Shishimaru," and local vegetables.

The bath facilities include two indoor baths, an open-air dome bath, and three open-air baths in separate areas. There is no gender distinction, and all baths are available for private use, allowing you to relax at your own pace. You may need to wait for your desired Onsen, but you can check the usage status and elapsed time on the electronic bulletin board in front of your Room. Our Property is entirely non-smoking, with designated smoking areas only at the entrance and terrace. The building is a two-story structure located on a slope, with multiple staircases of about 5 to 9 steps, making it far from barrier-free and without an elevator. Please take this into consideration when making your Reservation.The entrance is auto-locked, but staff will respond promptly via the intercom. We believe this provides good security. Unlike full-service Ryokan or Hotels, our Property offers a unique atmosphere, resembling a villa with a resident manager and chef.At our Property, guests are encouraged to wear loungewear instead of yukata. You are welcome to dine in your loungewear or casual clothes, whichever you prefer. In Oku-Nikko, there is a risk of snow and ice from mid-November, so if you are arriving by car, please equip studless tires or inquire about road conditions by phone. As it is located within a national park, snow removal is conducted perfectly 24 hours a day, so you should have no issues arriving as long as your car is equipped with studless tires.
