Our Accommodation is a hot-spring inn for guests aged 20 and over.In the early Meiji era, the 14th-generation proprietor, Yoshishige Fukuda, opened a new annex in Ikaho, Joshu—“Oku Ikaho Ryotei Kaichoro”—distinct in character from the family’s long-established Accommodation.In “Kaichoro,” “Kai” signifies tranquility, and “Cho” expresses our wish for guests to spend their time at ease; with this hope, we chose the name.From our carefully crafted cuisine to refined traditional Japanese-style Rooms and high-grade Rooms with an emphasis on design, all Rooms feature a private open-air bath. We also offer a spa and reservable private open-air baths, so you can fully enjoy your stay.

Nestled at the foot of Mount Haruna, Joushin no Sato Hibikino stands in the historic Ikaho Onsen. Spanning approximately 15,000 tsubo, the grounds feature gardens and pathways adorned with seasonal flora. Within the warm and inviting interiors, savor exquisite cuisine crafted by the head chef and indulge in the two renowned hot springs of Ikaho Onsen, "Golden Water" and "Silver Water." We are dedicated to ensuring your stay is comfortable and truly relaxing.

From the Room with a stunning view, you can gaze out at the distant mountains and be soothed by the changing colors of the sky from morning to evening. The spacious public bath offers a refreshing experience with a magnificent view of the seasonal Haruna mountains and the gentle murmur of the Yuzawa stream flowing from the hot spring source.

Enjoy a private getaway on the 1st floor and terrace of Kiyomizu Residence. Bring your own food and drinks; gas BBQ and hot pot party equipment are available to borrow free of charge. This historic mansion in the quiet center of a castle town, surrounded by gardens and parks, has been renovated for group stays—offering the warm hospitality unique to a family-run property. Facilities include a spacious 50-tatami great hall, a Showa-retro dining room, and an earthen-floor area with a table tennis set. Bedroom layouts can be arranged flexibly. Limited to one group per day, so you can relax without worrying about neighbors. Premium timber sourced from Gunma’s Jomo Sanzan mountains soothes both body and mind. Many day-use Onsen are nearby, making it an ideal base for sightseeing. Takasaki, Maebashi, Ikaho, and Haruna are about 25 minutes by car.
