Our Accommodation is a hot-spring inn for guests aged 20 and over.In the early Meiji era, the 14th-generation proprietor, Yoshishige Fukuda, opened a new annex in Ikaho, Joshu—“Oku Ikaho Ryotei Kaichoro”—distinct in character from the family’s long-established Accommodation.In “Kaichoro,” “Kai” signifies tranquility, and “Cho” expresses our wish for guests to spend their time at ease; with this hope, we chose the name.From our carefully crafted cuisine to refined traditional Japanese-style Rooms and high-grade Rooms with an emphasis on design, all Rooms feature a private open-air bath. Moriaki Ryokan, as its name suggests, is known as "Ujō no Yu" and offers the particularly rare "Golden Onsen" with free-flowing hot spring water in Ikaho Onsen. Founded in the first year of the Meiji era, this renowned hot spring with a 1500-year history is known for its gentle spring quality, soothing the hearts and bodies of its visitors. There are various bath options, including open-air baths, large communal baths, private baths, and rooms with onsen, all of which can be enjoyed with free-flowing hot spring water.It is also known as the inn loved by the poet Noguchi Ujō, and there is a space where you can feel his works and history. Additionally, it is in an excellent location, just a 3-minute walk to the stone steps street, making it convenient for strolling around the onsen town. An evening stroll in a yukata is also recommended, allowing you to experience a different onsen atmosphere from the daytime.The guest rooms range from standard types with a Japanese ambiance to rooms with onsen, offering a variety of types. In particular, rooms with onsen allow you to enjoy the "Golden Onsen" in a private space. Enjoy a private getaway on the 1st floor and terrace of Kiyomizu Residence. Bring your own food and drinks; gas BBQ and hot pot party equipment are available to borrow free of charge. This historic mansion in the quiet center of a castle town, surrounded by gardens and parks, has been renovated for group stays—offering the warm hospitality unique to a family-run property. Facilities include a spacious 50-tatami great hall, a Showa-retro dining room, and an earthen-floor area with a table tennis set. Bedroom layouts can be arranged flexibly. Limited to one group per day, so you can relax without worrying about neighbors. Premium timber sourced from Gunma’s Jomo Sanzan mountains soothes both body and mind. Many day-use Onsen are nearby, making it an ideal base for sightseeing. Takasaki, Maebashi, Ikaho, and Haruna are about 25 minutes by car. About 25 minutes by car from Maebashi IC, and about 27 minutes by bus or car from JR Takasaki Station. Maximum occupancy: 20 guests.

Located about 20 minutes by car from Ikaho, Maebashi, and Takasaki, and 10 minutes from the nearest Komayose Interchange.Reopened after renovation in 2023, we offer a clean and spacious setting.On the first floor, there is a large studio of approximately 80 m². With sound equipment, lighting, and streaming gear fully provided, it can be used for a wide range of purposes such as live performances, instrument practice, concerts, dance lessons, yoga, meetings and training sessions, and parties.On the second floor are four Rooms accommodating up to nine guests.The entire building can also be rented exclusively, making it suitable for group retreats.You can also enjoy barbecues and fireworks in the spacious outdoor parking area.Many sightseeing spots are nearby—including Ikaho Onsen and Lake Haruna—so there is plenty to explore beyond a single visit.Please enjoy a quiet moment here along with your sightseeing.
