A historic Ryokan established in the Edo period, located midway along the famous "Stone Steps Street" of Ikaho. The main building is a "Registered Tangible Cultural Property of Japan." You can choose your Room from the western wing built in 1920 with cypress wood or the western wing renovated into a modern Japanese style. Experience the warmth of cypress and Taisho-era charm alongside our golden hot spring water directly sourced from its origin.

Pinon, a Western-style Ryokan, was inspired by my two-and-a-half-year study abroad experience in the UK during my twenties.Since childhood, I dreamed of becoming the proprietress of my family's Ryokan and was preparing for that goal during this time.In Ikaho Onsen, known for its healing waters, there were no accommodations where women could feel safe traveling alone, enjoy a hotel-like relaxing stay, or savor freshly made delicious Western cuisine.If I were to start an accommodation business myself, I wanted to create a place where I would personally love to stay—an accommodation unlike any other.With these thoughts in mind, this Hotel opened its doors in 1997.Since then, we have consistently provided a space where solo travelers or small groups can fully enjoy a private hotel experience,a unique "French-style Kaiseki" meal that can be enjoyed with chopsticks,and complimentary access to private Onsen baths available 24 hours—a hospitality unique to hot spring resorts.This is the perfect Accommodation for women looking to escape daily life and relax at their own pace. In addition to the spacious large public bath, we also offer a rooftop open-air bath with a panoramic view of the majestic mountains. You can fully enjoy a tour of the baths within the Facility. We especially recommend the guest rooms with semi-open-air baths, where you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of the townscape of Ikaho and Mount Akagi while soaking in the Onsen. Additionally, the Facility is equipped with private baths, karaoke, manga, mahjong, table tennis, and other entertainment facilities that can be enjoyed for free. After leisurely enjoying the Onsen, spend a rich time with fun entertainment.

Enjoy a private getaway on the 1st floor and terrace of Kiyomizu Residence. Bring your own food and drinks; gas BBQ and hot pot party equipment are available to borrow free of charge. This historic mansion in the quiet center of a castle town, surrounded by gardens and parks, has been renovated for group stays—offering the warm hospitality unique to a family-run property. Facilities include a spacious 50-tatami great hall, a Showa-retro dining room, and an earthen-floor area with a table tennis set. Bedroom layouts can be arranged flexibly. Limited to one group per day, so you can relax without worrying about neighbors. Premium timber sourced from Gunma’s Jomo Sanzan mountains soothes both body and mind. Many day-use Onsen are nearby, making it an ideal base for sightseeing. Takasaki, Maebashi, Ikaho, and Haruna are about 25 minutes by car. About 25 minutes by car from Maebashi IC, and about 27 minutes by bus or car from JR Takasaki Station. Maximum occupancy: 20 guests.
