In Ikaho, we are one of the few hot spring Accommodations where you can enjoy two types of waters: “Kodakara-no-Yu,” traditionally said to be beneficial for women; “Kogane-no-Yu” (Golden Hot Spring), said to be good for recuperation; and “Shirogane-no-Yu” (Silver Hot Spring), said to promote health. In the wooden main building, constructed from the Taisho era to the early Showa period, each Room features its own unique character and design, offering a calm atmosphere shaped by years of history. At every bath in the Accommodation, enjoy Ikaho’s signature tea-brown hot spring, “Kogane-no-Yu,” with 100% free-flowing natural spring water—no added water and no circulation. In addition to a large public bath and an open-air bath, we also offer private baths that require no Reservation. Some Rooms also let you enjoy free-flowing hot spring water in your guest Room for a stay that suits your style. For dinner, we serve a Japanese kaiseki course featuring seasonal ingredients.
