This Accommodation is a hot-spring inn for guests aged 20 and over.In the early Meiji era, the 14th-generation proprietor, Yoshishige Fukuda, opened a new annex in Ikaho, Joshu—“Oku-Ikaho Ryotei Kaichoro”—distinct in style from the family’s long-established Accommodation.In “Kaichoro,” “Kai” signifies tranquility, and “Cho” expresses our wish for guests to spend their time slowly and at ease—this sentiment inspired our name.From carefully crafted cuisine to refined traditional Japanese-style Rooms and high-grade Rooms with a strong design focus, all Rooms feature a private open-air bath.
