In Ikaho, we are one of the few hot spring Accommodations where you can enjoy two types of waters: “Kodakara-no-Yu,” traditionally said to be beneficial for women; “Kogane-no-Yu” (Golden Hot Spring), said to be good for recuperation; and “Shirogane-no-Yu” (Silver Hot Spring), said to promote health. Our Accommodation is a hot-spring inn for guests aged 20 and over.In the early Meiji era, the 14th-generation proprietor, Yoshishige Fukuda, opened a new annex in Ikaho, Joshu—“Oku Ikaho Ryotei Kaichoro”—distinct in character from the family’s long-established Accommodation.In “Kaichoro,” “Kai” signifies tranquility, and “Cho” expresses our wish for guests to spend their time at ease; with this hope, we chose the name.From our carefully crafted cuisine to refined traditional Japanese-style Rooms and high-grade Rooms with an emphasis on design, all Rooms feature a private open-air bath. We also offer a spa and reservable private open-air baths, so you can fully enjoy your stay.

Pinon, a Western-style Ryokan, was inspired by my two-and-a-half-year study abroad experience in the UK during my twenties.Since childhood, I dreamed of becoming the proprietress of my family's Ryokan and was preparing for that goal during this time.In Ikaho Onsen, known for its healing waters, there were no accommodations where women could feel safe traveling alone, enjoy a hotel-like relaxing stay, or savor freshly made delicious Western cuisine.If I were to start an accommodation business myself, I wanted to create a place where I would personally love to stay—an accommodation unlike any other.With these thoughts in mind, this Hotel opened its doors in 1997.Since then, we have consistently provided a space where solo travelers or small groups can fully enjoy a private hotel experience,a unique "French-style Kaiseki" meal that can be enjoyed with chopsticks,and complimentary access to private Onsen baths available 24 hours—a hospitality unique to hot spring resorts.This is the perfect Accommodation for women looking to escape daily life and relax at their own pace. Hotel Route-Inn Numata - Opening on October 12, 2023! Located about 8 minutes by car from the Kan-Etsu Expressway "Numata IC," with free flat parking available. Guests can enjoy a complimentary breakfast buffet and access to the radium artificial Onsen large bath. Rooms are available for solo travelers up to groups of four. Numata City, known as a place connected to the Sanada clan, features Numata Park, home to the ruins of Numata Castle, one of the "Sanada Three Famous Castles." Opened on February 25, 2017, this accommodation offers facilities such as a microwave, coin laundry, and various amenities to ensure a comfortable stay even for long-term guests. A vending machine for beverages, including alcoholic drinks, is also available. All rooms are equipped with Wi-Fi, and some rooms can accommodate up to four guests.

We especially recommend the guest rooms with semi-open-air baths, where you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of the townscape of Ikaho and Mount Akagi while soaking in the Onsen. Additionally, the Facility is equipped with private baths, karaoke, manga, mahjong, table tennis, and other entertainment facilities that can be enjoyed for free. After leisurely enjoying the Onsen, spend a rich time with fun entertainment.
