KURBIO is a name derived from the combination of the German word "KUR," meaning "healing, recovery, treatment," and the Greek word "BIOS," meaning "life." KUR is often associated with Kurhaus (a Facility for therapeutic and recuperative purposes, often featuring an Onsen), and BIO is commonly heard in recent years in the context of macrobiotics (a dietary approach translated as "the art of longevity"). Kusatsu Onsen Hotel KURBIO is designed with the desire to help guests restore their physical and mental health through both aspects. It offers a serene environment, the renowned hot springs of Kusatsu, and daily meal menus based on macrobiotics. This is a new style of healthy resort that has not existed in Japan before.

Enjoy a relaxing stay with just your family or group, without worrying about others.For Onsen, please enjoy Kusatsu-style public bath hopping at spots such as Otaki-no-Yu (about a 5-minute walk). Yubatake is about a 10-minute walk away. The house also includes a shower room.
