A new encounter, a single story. Kanbayashi Hotel Senjukaku. The story began with an encounter. It was in 1929 (Showa 4) when the first president of Nagano Electric Railway, Tohei Kozu, met Lieutenant Helseth from Norway. This meeting in Kanbayashi brought together European and Japanese cultures, creating an entirely new culture or space.
