Pinon, a Western-style Ryokan, was inspired by my two-and-a-half-year study abroad experience in the UK during my twenties.Since childhood, I dreamed of becoming the proprietress of my family's Ryokan and was preparing for that goal during this time.In Ikaho Onsen, known for its healing waters, there were no accommodations where women could feel safe traveling alone, enjoy a hotel-like relaxing stay, or savor freshly made delicious Western cuisine.If I were to start an accommodation business myself, I wanted to create a place where I would personally love to stay—an accommodation unlike any other.With these thoughts in mind, this Hotel opened its doors in 1997.Since then, we have consistently provided a space where solo travelers or small groups can fully enjoy a private hotel experience,a unique "French-style Kaiseki" meal that can be enjoyed with chopsticks,and complimentary access to private Onsen baths available 24 hours—a hospitality unique to hot spring resorts.This is the perfect Accommodation for women looking to escape daily life and relax at their own pace. Beloved by literary figures and artists, this location offers excellent access, being only about 90 minutes from Tokyo. Situated in a quiet riverside setting, it provides a tranquil retreat. The charming guest rooms, including Japanese-style and Japanese-Western style rooms, offer views of the Usui River's gentle flow, allowing you to escape the hustle and bustle of daily life. The birthplace of the Onsen symbol, Isobe Onsen has been cherished by many poets since the Edo period. This long-established Ryokan embodies Japanese tradition, featuring spacious Japanese-style rooms "Kafukan" built in the Sukiya style, a bicarbonate strong saline cold mineral Onsen known as "Beauty's Bath," seasonal Kaiseki Japanese cuisine using local ingredients, and the popular soft tofu in the Japanese-style breakfast.

The Property, located a 20-minute drive from the World Heritage Site Tomioka Silk Mill, offers WiFi in all guest rooms and features two separate large baths for men and women. Isobe Onsen has long been cherished by travelers and spa-goers, with its high-quality chloride bicarbonate spring water known as "beauty water" and "healing water for colds." From the special pure Japanese-style room on the top floor, guests can enjoy seasonal landscapes. Additionally, the open-air baths include a fragrant hinoki cypress bath and a rock bath, providing a delightful bathing experience. The daily screening of the "Tongue-Cut Sparrow" story is enjoyable for both children and adults. Meals are prepared using the finest local ingredients from Gunma, ensuring safe and reliable dining.
