We offer three private baths and a wide variety of guest rooms with distinct styles. In Ikaho, we are one of the few hot spring Accommodations where you can enjoy two types of waters: “Kodakara-no-Yu,” traditionally said to be beneficial for women; “Kogane-no-Yu” (Golden Hot Spring), said to be good for recuperation; and “Shirogane-no-Yu” (Silver Hot Spring), said to promote health. Ryokan Tamaki has been in operation for 70 years, during which we have identified three essential elements for a ryokan: friendliness, dignity, and emotion. A property that embraces Japanese sentiment, where you can visit casually and feel at ease. This is the philosophy of Ryokan Tamaki. If you have a regular place to stay, you don't need a villa. Tamaki is a small ryokan, but we provide great relaxation to everyone.

Our Accommodation is a hot-spring inn for guests aged 20 and over.In the early Meiji era, the 14th-generation proprietor, Yoshishige Fukuda, opened a new annex in Ikaho, Joshu—“Oku Ikaho Ryotei Kaichoro”—distinct in character from the family’s long-established Accommodation.In “Kaichoro,” “Kai” signifies tranquility, and “Cho” expresses our wish for guests to spend their time at ease; with this hope, we chose the name.From our carefully crafted cuisine to refined traditional Japanese-style Rooms and high-grade Rooms with an emphasis on design, all Rooms feature a private open-air bath. Isobe Onsen has long been cherished by travelers and spa-goers, with its high-quality chloride bicarbonate spring water known as "beauty water" and "healing water for colds." At this Accommodation in Gunma Prefecture, we serve dishes that showcase the local heritage of the “Land of Silk.” Our cuisine features edible silk and mulberry leaves—the source of silk—offering gentle, delicious meals that balance flavor and wellness. From the Accommodation, you can enjoy spectacular views of Mt. Akagi and the Nikko mountain range, while select Rooms offer a sweeping panoramic vista of Joshu. A new style Ryokan was established in Isobe in July 2022. This is a new style Ryokan designed for those who prefer a more casual travel experience rather than the extensive services of a traditional Ryokan. Enjoy a private space with an entire Property reserved for your stay. The Property features a spacious living room, three different types of bedrooms, a ping-pong Room, a board game Room, and more, all packed into one luxurious private space. Equipped with a wooden deck, soft Kyoto Wasarashi cotton pajamas, and ReFa hair dryers, your stay will be comfortable and enjoyable. With the tableware, cooking utensils, and hot plates provided at our Property, you can enjoy activities like a barbecue or takoyaki party. While you are welcome to prepare or bring your own meals for dinner and breakfast, we also offer a Plan where you can have barbecue ingredients, including meat directly delivered from the local "Hagiwara Meat Shop" to your Room on the day of your stay. For breakfast, we can provide a popular colorful bagel sandwich and drink set at the attached café. Starting November 2024, we have introduced a private sauna, available free of charge for our guests. The "Misa Sauna Stove" used in the sauna is directly imported from Finland. Unlike the high-temperature dry saunas commonly found in Japan, we have adopted a Finnish wet sauna style, where water is poured over heated sauna stones. This gentle and wet Finnish sauna experience can be enjoyed by people of all ages and genders. Conveniently located just an 18-minute train ride from Takasaki Station and a 2-minute walk from the station, you can enjoy your stay with peace of mind.

This historic mansion in the quiet center of a castle town, surrounded by gardens and parks, has been renovated for group stays—offering the warm hospitality unique to a family-run property. Facilities include a spacious 50-tatami great hall, a Showa-retro dining room, and an earthen-floor area with a table tennis set. Bedroom layouts can be arranged flexibly. Limited to one group per day, so you can relax without worrying about neighbors. Premium timber sourced from Gunma’s Jomo Sanzan mountains soothes both body and mind. Many day-use Onsen are nearby, making it an ideal base for sightseeing. Takasaki, Maebashi, Ikaho, and Haruna are about 25 minutes by car.
