In Ikaho, we are one of the few hot spring Accommodations where you can enjoy two types of waters: “Kodakara-no-Yu,” traditionally said to be beneficial for women; “Kogane-no-Yu” (Golden Hot Spring), said to be good for recuperation; and “Shirogane-no-Yu” (Silver Hot Spring), said to promote health. Our Accommodation is a hot-spring inn for guests aged 20 and over.In the early Meiji era, the 14th-generation proprietor, Yoshishige Fukuda, opened a new annex in Ikaho, Joshu—“Oku Ikaho Ryotei Kaichoro”—distinct in character from the family’s long-established Accommodation.In “Kaichoro,” “Kai” signifies tranquility, and “Cho” expresses our wish for guests to spend their time at ease; with this hope, we chose the name.From our carefully crafted cuisine to refined traditional Japanese-style Rooms and high-grade Rooms with an emphasis on design, all Rooms feature a private open-air bath. We also offer a spa and reservable private open-air baths, so you can fully enjoy your stay.

Pinon, a Western-style Ryokan, was inspired by my two-and-a-half-year study abroad experience in the UK during my twenties.Since childhood, I dreamed of becoming the proprietress of my family's Ryokan and was preparing for that goal during this time.In Ikaho Onsen, known for its healing waters, there were no accommodations where women could feel safe traveling alone, enjoy a hotel-like relaxing stay, or savor freshly made delicious Western cuisine.If I were to start an accommodation business myself, I wanted to create a place where I would personally love to stay—an accommodation unlike any other.With these thoughts in mind, this Hotel opened its doors in 1997.Since then, we have consistently provided a space where solo travelers or small groups can fully enjoy a private hotel experience,a unique "French-style Kaiseki" meal that can be enjoyed with chopsticks,and complimentary access to private Onsen baths available 24 hours—a hospitality unique to hot spring resorts.This is the perfect Accommodation for women looking to escape daily life and relax at their own pace. Nestled at the foot of Mount Myogi, a famous peak in Gunma Prefecture, "Hotel Sakura-ya" in Isobe Onsen is a historic Ryokan established in 1870. The Property, located a 20-minute drive from the World Heritage Site Tomioka Silk Mill, offers WiFi in all guest rooms and features two separate large baths for men and women. Isobe Onsen has long been cherished by travelers and spa-goers, with its high-quality chloride bicarbonate spring water known as "beauty water" and "healing water for colds." From the special pure Japanese-style room on the top floor, guests can enjoy seasonal landscapes. Additionally, the open-air baths include a fragrant hinoki cypress bath and a rock bath, providing a delightful bathing experience. The daily screening of the "Tongue-Cut Sparrow" story is enjoyable for both children and adults. Meals are prepared using the finest local ingredients from Gunma, ensuring safe and reliable dining.

Spanning approximately 15,000 tsubo, the grounds feature gardens and pathways adorned with seasonal flora. Our specialty "Fluffy Tofu Hot Pot," also known as the edible Onsen, is the pride of our establishment. Enjoy its unique fluffy and melty texture. The 12-tatami Japanese-style Room with a great view of the Isobe Onsen town offers a refreshing scenery of Mount Haruna. Wireless LAN is installed for internet access. From the bath, you can enjoy the spring scenery with blooming cherry blossoms. We provide meals incorporating abundant ingredients from Gunma Prefecture, promoting local production and consumption.

Located about 20 minutes by car from Ikaho, Maebashi, and Takasaki, and 10 minutes from the nearest Komayose Interchange.Reopened after renovation in 2023, we offer a clean and spacious setting.On the first floor, there is a large studio of approximately 80 m². With sound equipment, lighting, and streaming gear fully provided, it can be used for a wide range of purposes such as live performances, instrument practice, concerts, dance lessons, yoga, meetings and training sessions, and parties.On the second floor are four Rooms accommodating up to nine guests.The entire building can also be rented exclusively, making it suitable for group retreats.You can also enjoy barbecues and fireworks in the spacious outdoor parking area.Many sightseeing spots are nearby—including Ikaho Onsen and Lake Haruna—so there is plenty to explore beyond a single visit.Please enjoy a quiet moment here along with your sightseeing.
