Founded 440 years ago. Our open-air bath, offering sweeping views of the mountain range from the upper floors, is a highlight unique to our Accommodation. We offer three private baths and a wide variety of guest rooms with distinct styles. In Ikaho, we are one of the few hot spring Accommodations where you can enjoy two types of waters: “Kodakara-no-Yu,” traditionally said to be beneficial for women; “Kogane-no-Yu” (Golden Hot Spring), said to be good for recuperation; and “Shirogane-no-Yu” (Silver Hot Spring), said to promote health. Pinon, a Western-style Ryokan, was inspired by my two-and-a-half-year study abroad experience in the UK during my twenties.Since childhood, I dreamed of becoming the proprietress of my family's Ryokan and was preparing for that goal during this time.In Ikaho Onsen, known for its healing waters, there were no accommodations where women could feel safe traveling alone, enjoy a hotel-like relaxing stay, or savor freshly made delicious Western cuisine.If I were to start an accommodation business myself, I wanted to create a place where I would personally love to stay—an accommodation unlike any other.With these thoughts in mind, this Hotel opened its doors in 1997.Since then, we have consistently provided a space where solo travelers or small groups can fully enjoy a private hotel experience,a unique "French-style Kaiseki" meal that can be enjoyed with chopsticks,and complimentary access to private Onsen baths available 24 hours—a hospitality unique to hot spring resorts.This is the perfect Accommodation for women looking to escape daily life and relax at their own pace. A new style Ryokan was established in Isobe in July 2022. This is a new style Ryokan designed for those who prefer a more casual travel experience rather than the extensive services of a traditional Ryokan. Enjoy a private space with an entire Property reserved for your stay. The Property features a spacious living room, three different types of bedrooms, a ping-pong Room, a board game Room, and more, all packed into one luxurious private space. Equipped with a wooden deck, soft Kyoto Wasarashi cotton pajamas, and ReFa hair dryers, your stay will be comfortable and enjoyable. With the tableware, cooking utensils, and hot plates provided at our Property, you can enjoy activities like a barbecue or takoyaki party. While you are welcome to prepare or bring your own meals for dinner and breakfast, we also offer a Plan where you can have barbecue ingredients, including meat directly delivered from the local "Hagiwara Meat Shop" to your Room on the day of your stay. For breakfast, we can provide a popular colorful bagel sandwich and drink set at the attached café. Starting November 2024, we have introduced a private sauna, available free of charge for our guests. The "Misa Sauna Stove" used in the sauna is directly imported from Finland. Unlike the high-temperature dry saunas commonly found in Japan, we have adopted a Finnish wet sauna style, where water is poured over heated sauna stones. This gentle and wet Finnish sauna experience can be enjoyed by people of all ages and genders. Conveniently located just an 18-minute train ride from Takasaki Station and a 2-minute walk from the station, you can enjoy your stay with peace of mind.
