Founded 440 years ago. Our open-air bath, offering sweeping views of the mountain range from the upper floors, is a highlight unique to our Accommodation. We offer three private baths and a wide variety of guest rooms with distinct styles. In Ikaho, we are one of the few hot spring Accommodations where you can enjoy two types of waters: “Kodakara-no-Yu,” traditionally said to be beneficial for women; “Kogane-no-Yu” (Golden Hot Spring), said to be good for recuperation; and “Shirogane-no-Yu” (Silver Hot Spring), said to promote health. Ryokan Tamaki has been in operation for 70 years, during which we have identified three essential elements for a ryokan: friendliness, dignity, and emotion.
