We offer three private baths and a wide variety of guest rooms with distinct styles. In Ikaho, we are one of the few hot spring Accommodations where you can enjoy two types of waters: “Kodakara-no-Yu,” traditionally said to be beneficial for women; “Kogane-no-Yu” (Golden Hot Spring), said to be good for recuperation; and “Shirogane-no-Yu” (Silver Hot Spring), said to promote health. Ryokan Tamaki has been in operation for 70 years, during which we have identified three essential elements for a ryokan: friendliness, dignity, and emotion. A property that embraces Japanese sentiment, where you can visit casually and feel at ease. This is the philosophy of Ryokan Tamaki. If you have a regular place to stay, you don't need a villa. Tamaki is a small ryokan, but we provide great relaxation to everyone.

Our Accommodation is a hot-spring inn for guests aged 20 and over.In the early Meiji era, the 14th-generation proprietor, Yoshishige Fukuda, opened a new annex in Ikaho, Joshu—“Oku Ikaho Ryotei Kaichoro”—distinct in character from the family’s long-established Accommodation.In “Kaichoro,” “Kai” signifies tranquility, and “Cho” expresses our wish for guests to spend their time at ease; with this hope, we chose the name.From our carefully crafted cuisine to refined traditional Japanese-style Rooms and high-grade Rooms with an emphasis on design, all Rooms feature a private open-air bath. We also offer a spa and reservable private open-air baths, so you can fully enjoy your stay.

With only 4 rooms, the fewest in Ikaho, our Property ensures a relaxing stay for our guests. Each room is uniquely designed so that even if you visit us four times, you can enjoy a completely different experience each time. For dinner, we offer "Joshu Obanzai," where you can choose from three main dishes. Our Onsen features two distinct baths themed around wood and stone, available for private use. A nostalgic, gentle, and tranquil space and time... yet with a touch of modernity. We welcome you with the unique "hospitality" of a small-scale Ryokan that values the perfect balance of closeness with our guests.

The Joshu Japanese meal set, incorporating seasonal ingredients, is served in the Room for up to 3 guests (including children).
