We had a truly wonderful stay. We stayed for two nights with our 1-year-old daughter. Dinner and breakfast were included, and the food was outstanding. They thoughtfully accommodated our child’s meals, taking her egg allergy and the size of the ingredients into consideration, and she was very happy. The staff also looked after her throughout, so we could enjoy our meal with peace of mind. The Room has special touches that help you forget the busyness of everyday life. Thanks to that, we were able to enjoy an extraordinary experience we don’t usually get to have. We would love to return again next time.

The owners were truly kind and welcoming, and their hospitality was very soothing. The resident dogs, Bell and Cherry, were also adorable. The Room was spacious, and the dog run outside the Room was great. All of the meals were delicious, especially the duck steak, the pudding-like dessert, the fresh salad, the morning cherry tomato salad-like dish, and the egg-salad omelet-style dish. We would love to visit again.

The atmosphere was homey and very clean, and all the staff were extremely kind. It was late July, but the temperature wasn’t too high and the humidity was low, so it was very comfortable—Karuizawa really is wonderful. We stayed for two nights, but on the second night my son became unwell, and I’m very sorry for the trouble we caused. Even though it was sudden, a staff member said, “Please let us know if there’s anything we can do,” and they also helped us check out quickly that same day—thank you so much. By the next day my son was feeling better and said, “Karuizawa was fun—I want to stay at that Hotel again.” I’m also sorry this Review is so late. I will contact you again separately. There was an unexpected issue and I panicked a bit, but I made another special memory in Karuizawa after a long time. Thank you very much.

The surroundings were wonderful, and this has become a Hotel I’d love to stay at again. The walking paths were lovely, and my dog looked like they really enjoyed the walks. There’s also an animal hospital nearby, which was reassuring. We’ll be back. It rained on the day we left this time, so next time we hope to come when it’s sunny… There also seem to be some nice shops nearby, so I’d like to explore them.

The hospitality and the restaurant cuisine were outstanding in every respect. Their attentive, courteous communication before our stay left a strong impression, and on the day of our visit, everyone—from the seasoned staff to the younger team members—provided genuinely pleasant service. If you want a reliably excellent experience in Karuizawa, HIRAMATSU is without doubt the place to choose.

My spouse and I stayed with our two dogs. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious. The dog meals also seemed tasty—our dogs finished them in no time. We were happy that the staff treated our very energetic dogs kindly. Everyone we interacted with—the front desk, the restaurant staff, and the Room service staff—was pleasant and welcoming. We stayed in a Room with a private garden, but unfortunately it rained, so we’d like to come again on a sunny day. Thank you very much.

The sashimi set dinner featured local vegetables, and the sashimi was very fresh and delicious. The other dishes were also excellent, and we were very satisfied. The staff were kind, courteous, and attentive, making this a wonderful Accommodation. We would love to stay again. Thank you very much.

This was my first stay here. The building, the Room, and the facilities were all new and clean, so I had a very comfortable stay. The on-site dog run was also spacious and well maintained, which was great. For breakfast, I ordered the bacon open sandwich and it was delicious. One comment: when taking a bath, there was nowhere to place clean clothes or clothes I had taken off, which was inconvenient. Even a small basket or stand would be helpful if provided.

I had a very comfortable stay! There may have been a few minor housekeeping issues, but the Room and the Hotel overall were clean. I was very satisfied with the meals as well! I thought it might be nice to use even more local ingredients from Nagano. I would love to stay again. Thank you very much.

They say this mountain Hotel opened in recent years as they’re planning to rebuild Takamine Kogen Hotel soon. Dinner was a beautifully presented and delicious set course. I couldn’t have breakfast because I left early in the morning to climb Mt. Asama, but according to the Hotel’s information it’s an elaborate bread-based breakfast (too bad I missed it). From 8:30 p.m., it’s bar time and drinks are free! All the Facility is new and spotless. The bath is a bit small, and there’s no open-air bath, which was slightly disappointing. They also gave me a free ticket for the Onsen at Takamine Kogen Hotel. Being able to bathe after hiking was very satisfying.

I chose this Hotel because I wanted my elderly father, who has trouble walking, to enjoy an Onsen, and the Room had a private Onsen. When I mentioned that he struggles with steps, they kindly took photos and sent them to us, so we were able to visit with peace of mind. The Onsen is small but open-air, and it felt wonderful. He was truly happy to be able to soak in an Onsen again after a long time. Every dish was delicious, and there was more than we could finish—we were very satisfied. Above all, every staff member was extremely kind, and we had a very comfortable stay. It’s also convenient because there is Shuttle Service from the station. We would definitely like to visit again.

Although it rained, we still had a truly wonderful time as a family—it didn’t bother us at all. The Facility was very quiet and relaxing, a special place where you can forget everyday life and unwind. Everything we needed was well provided, and our stay was very comfortable. The staff were also genuinely pleasant, and we really appreciated their thoughtful, unobtrusive care. The restaurant we used during our stay was excellent as well! The food was truly delicious and became one of the highlights of our trip. As parents, we were so happy to see our children enjoying every bite. There is also a convenience store nearby, which is handy for quick shopping. Since it rained this time, we’d love to visit again in a season with nicer weather. On the way home, our whole family kept saying, “Let’s come back.” Highly recommended for anyone looking to relax in Karuizawa!

This was my first time staying at this Hotel. The front desk staff were wonderful, and the food was delicious—I was very satisfied. Just one thing: coffee was provided in the morning, but it was a coffee drink rather than brewed coffee, which was a little disappointing. Still, considering everything overall, I felt it offered excellent value for money. Thank you very much.

To all the staff at Karuizawa Club Hotel 1130, thank you as always for your kind support. My family has stayed here many times over the past few years, and this time we were finally able to make a Reservation for the Premium Family Suite Room we had long hoped for, so we stayed yesterday. As its name suggests, it was the highest-grade Room among the many Rooms at Karuizawa Hotel 1130. There was an open-air jacuzzi bath on the balcony, and two indoor baths inside as well. There were also two restrooms, and four separate rooms in total—one of them a bedroom with a skylight that lets you gaze up at the sky. Because every space was so luxurious, my whole family was thrilled the moment we stepped into each room. We had reserved Japanese kaiseki at Yamaboshi well in advance, but it was changed to a buffet Plan. Just like in Hewitt Resort’s TV commercial, the buffet venue was beautiful and the selection was extensive. From the live kitchen at dinner to freshly made rice balls at breakfast, everything exceeded our expectations. The staff were all courteous and kind, which helped us greatly. We also visited the open-air bath at Onioshi Onsen; it had been renovated and made it easier to access directly from the indoor bath area. We will be staying one more night later this month as well, and we are looking forward to enjoying the same Premium Family Suite Room again. Each time we stay, this wonderful Hotel continues to evolve even further—and it has become our family’s favorite. I hope other guests can experience that same sense of excitement too. I chose this Accommodation because I was very interested in the open-air bath accessed by the mountain railway. I enjoyed it so much that I ended up using it three times during my stay. Since it was Monday right after the holiday period, it was very quiet, which was great. The Facility has the charm of a classic Onsen Accommodation, and the guest rooms have been beautifully renovated, making it extremely relaxing. I would love to stay again.

I visit Sugadaira every summer, so I check early, but I can never get a Reservation. This time I happened to get one, so it was my first stay. The area around the Hotel is very quiet, and the view from the Room is wonderful. After soaking in the Onsen, my skin stayed moisturized for a while. Everyone—the front desk staff and restaurant staff—was very pleasant and welcoming, and I had a truly enjoyable time. The buffet made great use of fresh vegetables and was thoughtfully prepared rather than relying on cheap pre-made sauces. It was delicious. Since it’s so hard to secure an Accommodation Reservation here, I’d come just for the meal alone. There were also many thoughtful touches: a sheet listing the names of the mountains visible from the Room window, places to hang clothes throughout the Room (probably for winter ski wear), a towel for wiping around the washbasin, and a cube-shaped power strip with five outlets. It’s a Hotel with great attention to detail. If I can get another Reservation, I would definitely like to stay again.

I assumed it would be just an Accommodation at a golf course and didn’t expect much, but it was unbelievably wonderful. The Facility—especially the Room—was cleaned more thoroughly than city Hotels, and the French cuisine in this Plan was of such a high standard that it felt like being in central Tokyo. As expected from the restaurant of a prestigious country club, and since discerning guests stay at this Accommodation, there’s clearly no cutting corners. Next time, I definitely want to stay again and play golf as well. Thank you so much to all the staff. We were extremely satisfied. My daughter’s wedding also went smoothly. Thank you very much.

We stayed with you last year and returned again this year, and despite the intense heat, it was wonderfully cool, allowing both our minds and bodies to truly relax. We plan to come back again next year with our two dogs. On the way here, we were also able to visit Kumano Kotai Shrine (Kumano Kōtaijingū), famous for its “long-life shrine for dogs,” where we prayed once again this year for our dogs’ knee health and overall well-being.

I was a bit worried after reading the Reviews, but it turned out to be a great value Hotel. The building is old, but it was well cleaned, and the view from the window was nice. In the lounge, you can enjoy coffee and house wine, and dinner was a set course meal. It’s simple French cuisine, but I felt it was very reasonably priced to have meals included at this rate (it may have been an especially good Plan by chance). Since I stayed for work, this Hotel offered excellent satisfaction for the price. Of course, I wouldn’t really recommend it to those looking for a luxury Hotel, but I highly recommend it for groups of friends or families who want a good-value stay. I’d love to stay again.

We stayed here for my husband’s birthday trip and also requested a birthday cake. Throughout our stay, we felt the staff’s thoughtful hospitality, and it was a Hotel we would love to return to. We were also grateful to be upgraded to a higher-grade Room free of charge—every service was truly appreciated. The calm atmosphere allowed us to relax and enjoy our time. Thank you very much.
