The clear stream of the Houki River flowing right in front and the trees on the mountainside across the river showcase different expressions with the changing seasons. Our accommodation is located along the Houkigawa River in the Nasu-Shiobara Onsen area. Starting with spring flowers, it serves as a summer retreat, is surrounded by autumn foliage in fall, and offers breathtaking snowy landscapes in winter. Enjoy our skin-smoothing onsen and seasonal buffet menus throughout the year. We take pride in our upgraded Japanese-style rooms with spacious layouts for a relaxing stay. The facility features a variety of baths, including a semi-open-air bath where you can enjoy the view of Shichigen Falls and the seasonal beauty of the valley, a rock bath filled with the natural charm reminiscent of Shiobara Gorge, and a standing bath with a depth of approximately 110 cm. Guests can enjoy touring these unique baths. In our premium lounge, you can relax with views of Shichigen Falls, the soothing sound of the river, and the warmth of a fireplace. The Ryokan Warakuyuen, located in the Shiobara Onsenkyo of Nasushiobara City, Tochigi Prefecture, features the open-air Onsen "Shiwakeshi no Yu" with natural spring water and a large garden that promotes relaxation. The cuisine includes Kaiseki meals made with seasonal ingredients. Vegetables harvested from our own fields and homemade miso provide a rich flavor not found in pre-made products.
