This is "Tsuchiyu Bettei Sato no Yu," a property with nine rooms located in Tsuchiyu Onsen, Fukushima Prefecture.Despite being a small property, all three natural hot spring baths on the premises are private, allowing you to enjoy your stay without concern for other guests, feeling as comfortable as at home.Additionally, Sato no Yu is situated in a gorge within Bandai-Asahi National Park, surrounded by untouched virgin forests, enabling you to experience the changing seasons throughout the property.

Our natural Onsen is 100% free-flowing from the source, piped in from the mountains at an elevation of 1,500 meters, and features a gentle simple acidic spring. Housed in an early Showa-era wooden building, the property offers just eight thoughtfully appointed rooms. Enjoy the free-flowing acidic hot springs and renowned baths. Dake no Yu features a unique hot spring, with natural spring water near the Adatara Mountain crater having a pH of 2.48. The water becomes milder as it flows through an 8km pipe. The open-air baths, designed to enjoy the Adatara sky, are made of hinoki wood, stone, and jar baths. The indoor baths with saunas offer a spacious and open atmosphere. Dinner is served as a natural buffet. Rice cooked in a traditional pot is exceptionally delicious.
