Around Honma Art Museum × Highly rated for dining at Hotel·Ryokan

We were lucky with the weather and could see both Mt. Chokai and the sunset sinking into the horizon from our Room. We stayed for a Multiple Night Stay, and the Hotel breakfast was excellent, with different menu items each day and seasoning that felt healthy (not too bland). The location is right by JR Sakata Station, with the highway bus stop directly in front. The city library is located on the lower floors of the Hotel. If you come to Sakata, this is a Hotel I would highly recommend!!

After visiting Mt. Yudono, I wanted to go to Sakata City, so I stayed here. I usually stay at a Hotel when traveling, but this time I chose Wakaba Ryokan. It was absolutely the right choice. The Room is small, but the futon was fluffy and very comfortable. The herbal bath available 24 hours a day was wonderful and soothed my tired body. The water from Mt. Chokai after the bath was delicious—I ended up drinking several cups. And breakfast was also excellent! It was generous in portion size, tasted homemade, and left me completely satisfied. I would like to stay here again when I visit Sakata. Thank you very much.

Yamagata is already Akita Prefecture. (The Hotel is not bad.)

The women’s bath was on the smaller side, but the location was excellent, with a large supermarket next door and a convenience store diagonally across the street. If you adjust your bathing time slightly, you can enjoy it almost privately, which was great. I had business in Tsuruoka City, and the travel distance wasn’t an issue; the staff were also very helpful, so I had a comfortable two-night stay.

The Room was spacious, and the bed size was large, making for a comfortable stay. Compared to other Business Hotels, the bathroom was also larger and more relaxing. I signed up for breakfast after seeing the information provided, and the Japanese set meal allowed me to enjoy delicious local cuisine. The location was excellent and convenient for sightseeing.

I left my luggage first and checked in after going out, and it was very smooth to get to my Room. I was in Akita recently and stayed at the same Alpha-One Akita, and I thought the shower water pressure was strong and great. Sometimes the shower pressure is weak, which can be a problem when washing my hair, but this time it was excellent. The staff’s service was also smooth. I’m very satisfied because I was able to stay at a great price thanks to a campaign.

This was my first stay, and it offered far more freedom than a Business Hotel with No Meals Included. The sunset over the sea in the evening was amazing! I enjoyed a blissful time sipping freshly brewed drip coffee. Great value—100 out of 100.

It was my first time staying at a Hotel with an unmanned front desk, and I was excited when the key box opened automatically after I entered the code sent to my phone (lol). Although the floor and the Room show their age, everything was very clean, and I really appreciated this level of quality at that price. However, the shower pressure in the bathroom was weak, which was inconvenient. Since it was summer, I managed somehow. It would also have been nice to have makeup remover. Thank you for a wonderful memory.

My son and I had a wonderful stay. The Accommodation owner was very kind, and we felt truly relaxed and able to rest well. The Room was far nicer than you would expect from the exterior, and the thoughtfully arranged space made us want to stay again. However, the bath and toilet were shared, and the toilet being far away was a slight concern. Even so, I think it is an excellent Accommodation. My son also said it became a great memory for him. Thank you very much for your hospitality.
