Our Hotel has three private spring sources (sulfur–sodium–chloride and sulfate springs), known for benefits such as promoting beautiful skin, supporting women’s health, easing rheumatism, and relieving neuralgia.\n\nOur free-flowing natural spring water changes color depending on the outside air and humidity—ranging from clear to clear green, milky white, or olive green—so you can enjoy subtle seasonal variations.\n\nA naturally gushing spring that rises from deep underground is managed around the clock by five dedicated bath attendants.

Ryokan Onuma is nestled in Naruko Onsenkyo, one of Oshu’s three famous hot spring areas with a 1,200-year history. Our Accommodation is a small, traditional hot spring inn that has long preserved its free-flowing natural Onsen. From the natural Onsen known as “Bijin-no-Yu” for its serum-like feel on the skin to private baths and large communal baths, you can quietly enjoy eight different bathing options. Step away from the bustle of everyday life, refresh your body and mind in the Onsen, and spend a peaceful time relaxing as if this were your second home.

A quiet Onsen Accommodation that values a calm, relaxing space. For dinner, our creative Japanese kaiseki features seasonal dishes made with ingredients from each time of year. The main steak is served from our live kitchen, delighting all five senses with its sound and aroma. Warm up from the core in our sulfur Onsen, also known as the “beauty bath,” then unwind even more in the lobby lounge or a private open-air bath.
