Umebachi is a small, house-shaped guesthouse with a close-knit, homey atmosphere where guests can easily connect with each other and the staff. Beyond the door you courageously open, a new world may be waiting for you. Located in Heisei, Miyagino Ward, Sendai City, where Umebachi resides, you'll find a nostalgic shopping street, unique restaurants, individual shops, and scenes in the parks, all offering glimpses into the lives of the locals. Since its opening as a newly built Property in 2011, Umebachi has welcomed a variety of guests, including backpackers traveling Japan and the world, families on vacation, event attendees, business travelers, and even neighbors dropping by on a whim. In the shared space, where greetings like "Good evening," "Welcome back," and "Have a good day" echo at night, the former chef-owner and the hostess serve homemade dinners using local ingredients, along with a variety of offerings, including Miyagi's local sake, all at reasonable prices. All these elements that gather at Umebachi create its greatest charm: "connection." And you, as a guest, will be part of it. We hope Umebachi becomes a place where you can experience interactions beyond the boundaries of nationality, titles, and values, a place where you can discover a new self and a new perspective on the world, something you can't experience in your daily life. Step away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and the city, and spend time in your own way. Add Umebachi to a page in your life story.
