Appi Kogen Ski Resort received the top award at the WORLD SKI AWARDS 2022, one of the most prestigious honors in the global ski tourism industry. This luxury resort has also won the 2022 WORLD LUXURY HOTEL AWARDS, often called the Academy Awards of the travel industry. The exterior features a modern design with deep-green tones and louvered accents, creating an impressive presence that blends with nature. The airy lobby opens onto a pond, where a teahouse appears to float on the water. On the rooftop, a view terrace facing the slopes offers an elegant setting to enjoy sweeping mountain and highland scenery. The large public Onsen bath includes two distinct styles—rock bath and cypress bath—so you can unwind at your leisure. There are seven Room types in total; four feature view baths with cypress tubs overlooking the slopes. Interiors use natural wood grain on walls and floors, with coordinated furnishings that create both luxury and comfort. At ANA InterContinental Appi Kogen Resort, enjoy world-class powder snow in winter and take in beautiful highland landscapes from fresh greenery through autumn colors from spring to fall—spend your time exactly as you wish.

At the Hachimantai Rising Sun Hotel, surrounded by the natural beauty of the four seasons, you can enjoy a flowing Onsen. From the windows, you can admire the breathtaking view of Mount Iwate, standing at 2,038 meters, a sight so stunning it has been featured in the works of Takuboku Ishikawa and Kenji Miyazawa. Additionally, the spacious lobby lounge features a large fireplace, filling the air with the comforting scent of wood during winter. For dinner, we offer a semi-buffet style meal centered on Japanese cuisine made with local ingredients. Furthermore, soft drinks are available for unlimited enjoyment from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, and alcoholic beverages from 8:00 PM to 11:00 PM.
