The building is old and evokes nostalgia for the Showa era, but please relax in the natural onsen to relieve your travel fatigue! The host, who loves traveling and has camped 200 nights at Lake Mashu, will introduce hidden spots around Lake Mashu, Lake Kussharo, and Lake Akan. Cyclists and riders are welcome! Mountain climbers, campers, and workers are also encouraged to use the facilities.

The hotel at Kawayu Onsen, renowned for its therapeutic benefits, offers "Acidic Alum Onsen" with natural flow, without water addition or circulation. There are three onsen baths available with "high, medium, and low" temperature settings. The rooms are filled with nostalgic items such as tea cabinets and low tables, and meals can be enjoyed around a traditional hearth. Rooms with tatami beds are also available, but limited in number, so please confirm during reservation. Enjoy the nostalgic atmosphere and delicious meals along with the onsen.

Fure Wing Named "Fure," meaning "red" in the Ainu language, after the place name Akayu, this two-story Property features two bedrooms and a Japanese-style space. A sandy beach stretches out in front, allowing guests to go fishing anytime with Fure's exclusive boat from spring to autumn, and enjoy mountain skiing or snowshoeing in winter. While soaking in the 24-hour natural Onsen, you can admire the majestic lake through the front window and the wetland scenery through the north-facing window.
