A renowned Ryokan, Sumiya Ryokan, featuring a sukiya-style architecture, offers an exceptional sense of tranquility that feels far removed from the bustling streets of Kyoto. The kaiseki dinner is exquisite, and on the evenings of the 7th and 17th each month, tea ceremonies are held in the tea room for your enjoyment.

Yoshikawa was established as a culinary Ryokan after World War II, located near the Kyoto Imperial Palace in the heart of Rakuchu. The garden, known as "Taikyoen," is said to have been designed by Enshu Kobori and retains some features from the Edo period. The Sukiya-style building, once a residence of a wealthy merchant, offers an atmosphere of tranquility and charm that feels far removed from the bustling city. THE HIRAMATSU Kyoto was born on Muromachi Street in Nakagyo Ward, the heart of Kyoto—an area dotted with long-established shops and convenient for sightseeing. A traditional Kyoto machiya townhouse, steeped in the city’s history and culture, has been given new value and reborn as an urban luxury Hotel. The Hotel features a kappo restaurant and a restaurant, and offers 29 spacious guest rooms where you can relax despite being in the city center. The design was supervised by Nakamura Sotoji Komuten of Kyoto, renowned in Japan and abroad as a leading workshop for sukiya-style architecture.

Opened within "Shinpukan," a space that combines the preserved section of the historic former Kyoto Central Telephone Office with a newly constructed building, designed in collaboration between renowned Japanese architect Kengo Kuma and LA-based Commune Design.

Hana Kanzashi was created with the desire to convey Kyoto's wonderful history, traditions, and culture in a more casual manner, allowing you to stay as if you were a Kyoto resident living here for generations. The exterior of the Kyoto townhouse blends seamlessly with the cityscape of Kyoto, and the modern Japanese-style Room offers a relaxing space as if you were living here. It is also an ideal location for exploring Kyoto.

Watazen Ryokan, established in the first year of Tenpō, is a property that values tradition and hospitality. Located in an area blending history and culture, you can relax in spacious, traditional Japanese-style rooms. We take pride in our Kyoto Kaiseki cuisine, featuring seasonal seafood and fresh local ingredients. Travel advice is also provided to ensure a meaningful experience.

"Ryokan Kouro" is located in the heart of Kyoto, in the "Historic City Center" area within the Tanoji district, which is considered the central part of Kyoto. It is conveniently close to municipal subway and private railway stations, as well as a variety of restaurants and souvenir shops. Nishiki Market is just a 3-minute walk away, and Shinkyogoku and Kawaramachi are within a 5 to 10-minute walk.At the Ryokan, we take pride in serving our meals in your Room for both breakfast and dinner. While in-Room dining has become less common in recent years, you can enjoy the traditional Ryokan dining experience here. Our kaiseki cuisine, in particular, is highly praised for its use of seasonal ingredients and Kyoto-style presentation.Each Room is equipped with a private bath and toilet, but we also have a communal bath available. Though not large, the bath features a hinoki cypress tub, offering a relaxing way to unwind from your travels.In recent years, we have also introduced barrier-free Rooms.
