The legend of the descent of the heavenly deities lives on at the sacred peak of Takachiho. The legend began when the deities descended upon Amanosakahoko in Takamagahara (the High Plain). The sacred peak of Takachiho, gazed upon day and night, is beautiful, its clear and abundant nature continues to mark the eternal time, and its presence nestled in the bosom of Takachiho's mountains is truly a 'rural Property'.

Established in the 6th year of the Taisho era, this onsen property is situated atop a hill and surrounded by 50,000 tsubo of natural forest.
