Each villa has its own indoor bath and open-air Onsen, so even elderly guests were able to relax and enjoy it at their own pace. The Room was very clean, and we had a comfortable stay. The garden and reflecting pool were also beautifully maintained and a pleasure to look at. The meals were excellent in both ingredients and preparation, and everything was delicious. The dashi was rich in flavor, and we were truly impressed by the chef’s careful work. The staff welcomed us with wonderful smiles and kindly assisted our elderly guest with luggage, meal service, and more. We felt refreshed both physically and mentally. Thank you very much. We would love to stay again.

From the Accommodation’s architecture to the bath and cuisine, every detail reflected excellent taste, allowing us to enjoy an elegant and special time of relaxation surrounded by art. It was my first time in a while staying at this Accommodation. This time, the Room had a free-flowing Onsen bath, and with the large public bath as well, I was able to enjoy many baths—truly an Onsen-filled stay. The meals were delicious, and a woman who had come from overseas for training was very friendly and attentive, which made dining even more pleasant. However, it was raining heavily at check-in, so I felt a little disappointed that no one came out to greet me with an umbrella.

We decided to come on short notice, and once again we received warm, attentive hospitality, just like last time. We were able to relax in the lounge with drinks, refresh in the stone sauna in the morning, and enjoy the open-air bath in our Room many times, which helped us unwind. It was so good for a third visit that we felt this is the only Ryokan nearby where we can truly relax. We will definitely visit again.

My mother and I stayed here together. Each dish was truly delicious, and we were also delighted by the beautiful tableware, which we were told is sourced from various parts of Kyushu—making it a feast for the eyes as well. With the open-air bath surrounded by nature and the bath in our Room, we were able to relax to our heart’s content and enjoy an exceptional time. We loved the in-room bath so much that no matter how many times we used it, it never felt like enough. The Room was clean and very comfortable. This Accommodation offers outstanding comfort. We would love to stay again.

I first learned about this Accommodation in a travel magazine and had wanted to visit for years. From the moment I made my Reservation, the staff reached out several times with thoughtful messages, which felt truly warm and welcoming. I’m grateful for their kind advice on transportation as well as nearby recommended spots and restaurants. Set on a vast property, the Accommodation offers wonderful views, and I was thrilled to encounter deer while strolling around. The Onsen had excellent water quality, the Facility was well maintained, and I was able to unwind and soothe my fatigue while enjoying the scenery. A local regular I spoke with in the bath said they stay here every month—I couldn’t help but envy them. It was an outstanding Accommodation where both mind and body could fully relax. I would love to visit again. Every staff member was gentle and attentive, and their hospitality made it possible for me to truly feel at ease throughout my stay—each day felt happy. The service was arguably the best we have ever experienced. The Facility was, of course, excellent, and the meals were top-class in both quality and portion size. What impressed us even more was how kindly and thoughtfully you advised us regarding the Shuttle Service. Getting to Kirishima Shrine can be inconvenient due to limited transportation, but thanks to everyone at the Accommodation, we were able to visit Kirishima Shrine very comfortably. While urgently looking for an affordable Onsen Accommodation near Kagoshima Airport, I came across this place. I didn’t have high expectations, but the Room was spacious and clean, the open-air Onsen bath was very relaxing, and there was also a cold plunge in the indoor bath—overall, I was very satisfied. I didn’t make a Reservation with meals included, so I arranged it directly at the Accommodation, and it turned out to be a delicious meal made with local ingredients. The breakfast in particular was excellent.

During our 2-night, 3-day stay, we were able to truly relax both body and mind. Since we live in Saitama and this is Kagoshima, we can’t visit often, but we would definitely love to return. From the warm welcome to the delicious dinner… the treats of shochu and fireworks… I’m still thinking about how best to describe how wonderful it all was. The food was never flashy; instead, it was carefully prepared using freshly harvested vegetables and local fish and meat, and it felt as if I was becoming healthier from the inside out. Simply delicious! You can also feel the attention given to the tableware and presentation. The hot spring water… without a doubt, it was outstanding. We also felt completely at ease in our Room. Above all, we could sense kindness and care in every detail. The message written on a beautiful leaf, and the rice balls and rolled omelet you gave us to take when going out or returning—both were heartwarming and delicious. Thank you very much. Your warm hospitality—while maintaining just the right distance for each guest—was excellent in every way. This Accommodation reminded us of a gentle kindness that daily busyness had made us forget. Lastly… we hope that adorable pair of chickens stays healthy for a long time. Thank you for such wonderful memories. We would love to visit again for sure.

We stayed in the detached Akiseian. It had a large open-air bath attached to the Room, and since the weather was nice, we enjoyed it many times. The hot spring water was slightly silky and felt wonderful. The food was delicious, and there was a wide variety of sake to enjoy. It seems other detached Rooms also have large private baths, so we would like to stay again in a different season.

The Accommodation’s heartfelt hospitality was evident from check-in onward, extending through dinner, the Onsen, and every aspect of your stay in the Room.

There are three types of Onsen: a private open-air bath, a family bath, and a large public bath—all of which were very satisfying. The meals were also delicious. We were able to spend a quiet, relaxing, and happy time.

This time, we stayed during the firefly season in late May. After dinner, just as the Accommodation advised us, we walked to a viewing spot along the “Yoboshigawa” River that flows near the Accommodation. Due to the impact of flooding a few years ago, we were told there are fewer fireflies now, so it wasn’t quite “firefly hunting,” but my spouse and I enjoyed watching fireflies flitting about here and there, feeling like kids again for a while. The viewing spot on the Yoboshigawa River is about 400 meters south of the Accommodation along the road, making for a nice post-dinner walk (haha). After that, it was back to enjoying the Onsen. I’ve written reviews several times in the past about their hospitality and service, meals, and Onsen/baths; as always, we received warm hospitality and had another very satisfying stay this time as well. We’ll be back again.

We enjoyed the Onsen and the cuisine again this year. Especially during meals, the staff chatted with us and showed such thoughtful care, making it a wonderful travel memory. We hope to visit again next year.

We stayed in a luxuriously designed Suite Room. The 24-hour free-flowing cloudy Onsen in the Room was pure indulgence. Even among Accommodations with an open-air bath, I don’t think you’ll find another with a bath as large as this Accommodation’s. The mountain and river cuisine also showed great attention to detail—highly recommended for a stay.

This was a Hotel I had wanted to stay at for a long time. At check-in, I was offered an upgraded La Vista Room. The moment I entered the room and saw Sakurajima and Mt. Kaimondake side by side in the center of the window, it was truly moving as someone from Kagoshima Prefecture. The hospitality, meals, Onsen, and Facility exceeded my expectations. I would definitely like to stay here again, and I want to recommend this place to friends and acquaintances.

Everything was great except that the Room was so hot I could barely sleep. There was a fan in the Room, so I should have turned it on, but I couldn’t be bothered to get up, plug it in, and switch it on, so I just endured it until morning. After taking a bath in the evening, I enjoyed 4 of the 12 kinds of complimentary shochu in the lounge. Then live music started as well, and it was such a lovely time relaxing on a comfortable sofa. For the shochu, ice, cold water, and hot water are provided, so you can drink it however you like. As is often the case with buffets, it was quite crowded at mealtime, but there were also Kagoshima local dishes, which made it fun.

As the title says, we didn’t use the pool due to an approaching typhoon, but there was a large Room in the Facility where children could play even on rainy days. Our kids were able to play all day together with other families’ children. We also enjoyed the buffet, which had a wide variety of options. The Room was clean, and the bath was great.
