Oyama, the inner retreat of Tenryo Hita, is a scenic area blessed with the Hibiki Gorge and plum blossoms. We named this place “Okuhita Onsen” and our Ryokan “Umehibiki.”In this land where plums have been lovingly cultivated for generations, we cherish the plum blossoms and use the fruit to make umeshu (plum liqueur) and umeboshi (pickled plums). Shin-Ajisai, located on a hilltop, is a nature-rich property offering panoramic views of Amagase. All rooms feature river views, and the interior design is inspired by hydrangeas. Some rooms come with open-air baths, and there are 8 Onsen facilities across 4 locations. Notably, "Tenko no Yu" is an open-air bath situated at the highest point with breathtaking views, while "Takimi no Yu" offers the experience of soaking in an Onsen accompanied by the roaring sound of a waterfall.
