After watching a TV program featuring purple sea urchin, we visited looking forward to the dining experience. The cuisine, making the most of Amakusa’s abundant natural bounty, was far beyond our expectations—truly outstanding. We also appreciated the thoughtful explanations about the ingredients and stories about the producers, and enjoyed a wonderful time with the paired drinks. Dinner enjoyed while watching the beautiful sunset is a special memory we will never forget. A stylish and comfortable Room, an Onsen with ocean views, and breathtaking scenery right before our eyes—everything was exceptional and deeply relaxing. Most memorable of all was the warm hospitality of your staff, who clearly love Amakusa. Their desire to share Amakusa’s charm and ensure every guest truly enjoys their stay came through in every detail, and thanks to their attentive care we felt comfortable throughout. Although the sunset was not visible due to cloudy weather, I was deeply moved by the stunning interplay of light between the clouds and sea during dusk, as well as the dramatic shadows of the Amakusa islands. The Hotel's Facility, designed with this breathtaking scenery in mind

I had been curious about this accommodation for a long time when visiting Amakusa, and I’m glad I could stay. The semi-open-air bath was great, but the meals were absolutely amazing. I was fully satisfied with all the delicacies of Amakusa. Unfortunately, the weather didn’t all

Every dish in the meal was outstanding—the best of any Ryokan I have stayed at. I was also surprised at how delicious the seasoning was even on the fried item we were given to take home, made from the remaining fish. The Room was clean and well kept. The staff’s service was just right, and it felt very comfortable.

Four close grandma friends stayed here together. The staff were attentive while keeping a comfortable distance, which made our stay very pleasant. The meals were just right in both quality and portion size. For breakfast, the sashimi we couldn’t finish at dinner was served as marinated fish, and there was also fish with a savory sauce; we took our time and enjoyed every bite. The hostess’s stage performance was fun as well—this is an Accommodation we’d love to visit again and again.

It was a trip for two with my 93-year-old mother. Because there were a few steps to the private bath, they kindly drove us back and forth by car over the distance of several dozen meters. The Room’s large glass windows were beautifully polished, and thoughtful care was evident in every detail. The hostess’s hospitality was wonderful, and we were also impressed by how delicious the food was. It was an Accommodation we would love to visit again.

Thanks to the kind owner, we had a wonderful stay. It’s easy to see why so many guests return. For this price, it was amazing that dinner included sashimi, simmered fish, and a platter of fried dishes. The coffee at breakfast was also delicious. The building is old, but it was very well cleaned, so it didn’t bother us. The hot water was excellent as well. We’d love to stay here again next time.

Dinner was outstanding! Every dish served was delicious. I’d love to have the octopus steak and the simmered clams again. The mozuku seaweed was a variety I don’t usually see, and the recommended “Gyorokke” was also very satisfying. It’s an Accommodation for food lovers that I’d like to visit again.

I stayed here while looking for an Accommodation that offers a fishing experience, and it turned out to be even better than I imagined. The fishing experience was especially fun and became a wonderful travel memory. All the staff were cheerful, and their hospitality was excellent throughout. They even celebrated our wedding, which truly moved us. We really appreciated their thoughtful attention to detail. The meals were also very satisfying—one luxurious dish after another, including kuruma prawns, spiny lobster, tempura, and more. Everything was delicious; it’s a dream for seafood lovers. The Onsen was relaxing, and the amenities were well stocked, so we could stay comfortably. The views, food, and service were all outstanding—an Accommodation I’d love to visit again. Highly recommended for anyone traveling to Amakusa.
