At the foot of Mount Zozu, overlooking the historic Kotohira Shrine, affectionately known as "Konpira-san" since ancient times, stands the Kotohira Grand Hotel Sakuranoshou. In April 2020, the "Hatsune Premium" rooms with private open-air Onsen baths were opened. Inspired by the "Hatsune Drum" featured in the kabuki play "Yoshitsune Senbon Zakura," these rooms offer a serene space with a modern Japanese aesthetic and a view unique to Kotohira.

"Toraya Annex," built in the late Edo period as a special residence of the approximately 400-year-old Toraya Ryokan. The interior has been renovated for your comfort, while preserving its nostalgic atmosphere and historical charm. The entire accommodation is non-smoking, and shared spaces are available.
