Founded in 1627. A long-established Ryokan beloved by renowned writers and artists.

The atmosphere, baths, meals, and hospitality at the ryokan were all wonderful. However, during breakfast I could hear an older man in the next room constantly making petty complaints, which made me feel uncomfortable. I felt sorry for the staff member who was dealing with him.
