All guest rooms at the Property are equipped with open-air baths, allowing you to fully enjoy the blessings of Aki Miyahama Onsen. Additionally, you can stay with your pets, and the rooftop sky terrace features a dog run. To lighten the load for guests, supplies such as toilet sheets and pet food are also provided. The guest rooms come with open-air baths made of Shigaraki ceramic and offer a spacious environment for your comfort. Dining is available at the adjacent annex restaurant. Furthermore, the large panoramic open-air bath "Tanayu" offers stunning views of Beppu Bay, the city nightscape, and even Shikoku's Cape Sada.

In the first year of Ansei (1854), the founder of our Property, Iwakuniya Sobei, received permission from the magistrate's office to develop the area. He built a bridge over the Momiji River in front of the Property and established a teahouse by the stream as a resting place for travelers. This marked the beginning of "Miyajima no Yado Iwaso." Later, the bustling popularity continued, and the Property officially opened as a Ryokan in the early Meiji period. The main entrance building dates back to 1892 (Meiji 25), and the lobby was constructed during renovations in 1981 (Showa 56). Today, we draw natural Onsen, a rarity on the island, and offer accommodations in the main building, new building, and detached rooms. As a Ryokan nestled within a national park, we strive daily to ensure our guests can relax and enjoy their stay.

"Miyajima Grand Hotel Arimoto" is a Ryokan with a history dating back to the early Edo period, now run by its 20th generation. It is the closest accommodation to Itsukushima Shrine and the oldest accommodation in Miyajima, welcoming numerous guests over the years.In 1974, it opened a new annex on an elevated location behind the shrine, moving from its original site along Ari-no-Ura beach. The Ryokan has since been dedicated to providing hospitality to visitors of Itsukushima Shrine and guests from across Japan and overseas, allowing them to enjoy Miyajima's natural beauty and rich history. The traditional Japanese Sukiya-style rooms and Setouchi Kaiseki cuisine are among its highlights.

"Grandvrio Hotel Miyajima -Wakura-" is located in Miyajimaguchi, the gateway to Miyajima, one of Japan's three most scenic spots, and the World Heritage Site Itsukushima Shrine. A National Lodge is a Property or Facility built in areas with excellent natural environments, such as national parks or national recreational Onsen areas. Miyajima Mori no Yado is a National Lodge located within Omoto Park, at the foot of the natural monument Misen Primeval Forest. Omoto Park is a rare place in the world where large fir trees grow near the coastline, blending the scent of the sea with the fragrance of the forest. It has long been a famous spot for cherry blossoms and is counted among the Eight Views of Itsukushima for its beauty. Additionally, within the park lies Omoto Shrine, an ancient shrine said to have been established even before Itsukushima Shrine. During the winter festival Hyakutematsuri and the summer Miyajima Grand Festival Kangen-sai, ceremonial boats dock here, and rituals are performed. Right in front of the lodge is the Miyajima Aquarium, allowing you to rediscover the charm of Miyajima while staying at Miyajima Mori no Yado, surrounded by the rich natural beauty of the sea and mountains.

Just a 3-minute walk from the pier and a 7-minute walk to the World Heritage Itsukushima Shrine, this location serves as a perfect base to enjoy Miyajima, one of Japan's three scenic views. From the large public bath on the top floor, you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Seto Inland Sea at different times of the day. Relax in a serene Room designed in the Sukiya style. Miyajima Seaside Hotel is conveniently located for sightseeing at attractions such as Itsukushima Shrine and the Great Torii Gate, and offers a free Shuttle Service. From the sea-facing Rooms, you can enjoy the breathtaking views of the Seto Inland Sea, which change their expression throughout the day. The spacious Japanese-style Rooms feature armchairs for admiring the stunning scenery, and the large public bath includes a spacious tub and a bubble bath.
