Welcome to Iwai Onsen Iwaiya. This secluded hot-spring retreat, said to be the oldest in the San’in region, offers 100% free-flowing natural spring water throughout the property—even in the showers. In our 150-year-old, traditional three-story wooden inn, enjoy a distinctly Japanese atmosphere filled with folk-style furnishings and local wildflowers, along with the flavors of San’in cuisine for a truly relaxing stay. Since its opening as Hotel Ohira, this Hotel has been operating closely with the local community for over 40 years. With a complete renovation in 1999, the name was changed to the current Hotel RESH Tottori Ekimae. The Hotel has continued to evolve with the times, including the opening of a large public bath and the renovation of guest rooms. The large public bath also features a sauna, and while it is not an Onsen, guests can relax and unwind comfortably. Additionally, breakfast is a Japanese set meal made with delicious local ingredients, earning high praise for its taste! Located just about a 3-minute walk from the north exit of Tottori Station, almost without getting wet in the rain, it is a very convenient location for both business and sightseeing.
