Dinner featured a luxurious platter of Ise lobster, golden eye snapper (kinmedai), and turban shell (sazae) – all absolutely delicious. The tuna sashimi was exceptional! The kinmedai rice dish was also delightful and very filling. Breakfast served in-room was equally satisfying.

If I had to mention a downside, the exterior and interior felt a bit worn, which made the atmosphere seem a little intimidating. However, the bath was clean and the Onsen water flows continuously, so it was amazing! The meals were delicious with no complaints, and since it was a buffet we really enjoyed it! One more thing… it was a bit disappointing that we couldn’t connect external devices to the TV. It can’t be helped given the Facility setup, but the game console we brought ended up being useless. We also wanted to mirror our smartphone screen on the TV, but that wasn’t possible either. We played cards and table tennis with my siblings instead, but it was still a little disappointing.

This was our first stay! Just as the Reviews said, it was a very dog-friendly Accommodation. I accidentally left a large piece of luggage at check-out, but even though it was during a holiday period, they responded quickly and mailed it to me, which was a huge help. We only had breakfast this time, but it was delicious. Next time, I’d like to book dinner as well. It’s an Accommodation that’s kind to both dogs and guests, and we had a wonderful holiday trip. The proprietress and all the staff were kind, and we felt very comfortable throughout our stay. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious, with satisfying portions. The abalone at dinner and the dried fish at breakfast were especially tasty! Unfortunately, we didn’t use the private bath this time because it felt like too much of a hassle to go there, but the in-room bath was more than enough. If I had to mention one thing, I wanted to go for an early-morning walk to fully enjoy wonderful Matsuzaki Town, but the doors were locked for security so I couldn’t go out. I also understand that having staff on duty from early morning may not be practical, and every Accommodation has its own style, so that’s completely fine. It’s truly a wonderful setting, and I’d love to stay again.

Located in the simple, relaxing town of Matsuzaki, this is a simple and calming Accommodation. The Room is very clean, and simple in a really good way. There are two izakaya within easy reach, so you won’t have trouble finding dinner, and there’s also a snack bar just a few minutes’ walk away. The bath is also a natural Onsen—morning baths are the best! This is my regular place to stay.
