Loved by many literary figures since 1954 and known as a writers’ inn, the property has a calm, refined atmosphere. All Onsen baths—including the bath in your Room—are free-flowing directly from the source. After soaking in our open-air stone bath made from 53 tons of lava rock or our open-air wooden bath carved from a 1,200-year-old tree, enjoy our signature dishes featuring fresh seafood and mountain produce from Izu. A walk along the Amagi Promenade reveals timeless mountain-village scenery.

An accommodation nestled along the streams of the Amagi mountain range, offering the renowned "Kitachi no Yu" hot spring with over 800 years of history. Enjoy various baths, including a cave bath overlooking the clear stream of Nekogoe River and an open-air bath with natural hot spring water flowing directly from the source. Guest rooms are 15-20 tatami mats in size, featuring beds measuring 120×195cm. Maximum capacity is 3-4 people, and non-smoking rooms are available.
