Loved by many literary figures since 1954 and known as a writers’ inn, the property has a calm, refined atmosphere. All Onsen baths—including the bath in your Room—are free-flowing directly from the source. After soaking in our open-air stone bath made from 53 tons of lava rock or our open-air wooden bath carved from a 1,200-year-old tree, enjoy our signature dishes featuring fresh seafood and mountain produce from Izu. Enjoy various baths, including a cave bath overlooking the clear stream of Nekogoe River and an open-air bath with natural hot spring water flowing directly from the source. Guest rooms are 15-20 tatami mats in size, featuring beds measuring 120×195cm. Maximum capacity is 3-4 people, and non-smoking rooms are available.
