Founded at its current location on the shores of Lake Suwa in 1920, our locally inspired creative kaiseki cuisine has earned top-tier acclaim for over a century. In 2022, we opened “Fukatei,” a private dining venue with special rooms. Enjoy an unforgettable dinner with someone special in an elegant private setting while overlooking our Japanese garden through the seasons.

Nestled in the rich natural beauty of Shinshu Kamisuwa Onsen, a place nurtured by tradition, culture, and heartfelt hospitality. "Hotel Saginoyu," a long-established Property in Kamisuwa that has walked alongside Lake Suwa, is a romantic Property with over 90 years of history, featuring its own amber-colored Onsen source. Overlooking the tranquil lake, it is a place where people gather, hearts bloom, and the romance and dreams left behind by many predecessors at Saginoyu are carried forward. Embracing the changes of the four seasons and the rhythms of nature, we welcome you to our Property, where we renew the spirit of the elegance cherished by us Japanese, and offer heartfelt hospitality.

Hamanoyu, a long-established Onsen Ryokan, is located in the heart of Kamisuwa Onsen. Enjoy authentic kaiseki cuisine featuring seafood delivered directly from Toyosu Market and seasonal Shinshu ingredients—an exceptional dining experience you won’t find elsewhere. Its convenient location is also a highlight, about a 5-minute walk to JR Kamisuwa Station and Lake Suwa. Spend a relaxing time by the shores of Lake Suwa.
