Renowned figures such as Shotaro Hanayagi and Matsutaro Kawaguchi have stayed at our Property numerous times. It is said that Kawaguchi decided on the title of his work "Aizen Katsura" during his stay here, inspired by the giant katsura tree near the Kannon statue. Kashiwaya Honten, with over a century of history, welcomes each guest with care, incorporating "Japanese elegance," "seasonal aromas," and "warm hospitality" into its architecture, cuisine, and service, offering a tranquil Japanese lodging experience.
