It is said that Kawaguchi decided on the title of his work "Aizen Katsura" during his stay here, inspired by the giant katsura tree near the Kannon statue. Kashiwaya Honten, with over a century of history, welcomes each guest with care, incorporating "Japanese elegance," "seasonal aromas," and "warm hospitality" into its architecture, cuisine, and service, offering a tranquil Japanese lodging experience.
