The main building, a three-story wooden structure originally built in 1928, underwent renovation along with the construction of a new bathhouse wing over the course of a year, and reopened in April 2020. While preserving the charm of the early Showa era, the space has been transformed into a more comfortable and atmospheric environment. With the concept of "Staying with Time," we have carefully crafted the Property using natural materials that age gracefully over time, aiming for simplicity and quality, and paying attention to every detail. Although there are no picturesque Onsen towns or breathtaking views, we believe you will feel the accumulation of time and the beauty of a traditional inn in the space that retains its historical essence. A two-story traditional Japanese house where the past and present harmonize in quiet serenity. Once used as a silkworm farming home, "Shibumichi" is the only two-story accommodation at Yamawura Stay. The gently sloped stairs and thoughtfully designed layout quietly preserve memories of life from that era. The second floor features two single beds, while futons can be laid out in the first-floor tatami room to accommodate up to six guests, offering just the right balance of space for a comfortable stay. A Property renovated from a wealthy merchant's villa, featuring a magnificent building and garden made with carefully selected natural materials. The long corridors, staircases, and open resting areas reflect the playful spirit of the merchant. The detached guest rooms consist of two connected Japanese-style rooms (10 tatami mats and 8 tatami mats) and include a private open-air bath, indoor bath, kitchen, garden, and entrance, offering a private and relaxing stay. The open-air bath, crafted from large rocks, is located within the garden, allowing guests to enjoy the fresh greenery or autumn foliage. The cuisine includes seasonal dishes such as Shinshu beef steak and fresh vegetables, providing a taste of the seasons.
