The main building, a three-story wooden structure originally built in 1928, underwent renovation along with the construction of a new bathhouse wing over the course of a year, and reopened in April 2020. "Tateshina BASE" also serves as a multi-purpose tourist Facility. It features five dining options, including a bakery, vegan burger shop, and a yakiniku bar specializing in Tateshina beef (adjacent). For dinner, you can enjoy course meals made with fresh ingredients from Shinshu at a café-restaurant overlooking the lake.
