Our signature onsen with natural hot spring water is available not only in the large public bath but also in every guest room. Dinner features a full-course French cuisine prepared by an experienced chef using seasonal ingredients from Shinshu, complemented by wines recommended by our sommelier. The hotel is located away from Kappa Bridge, offering a serene experience surrounded by nature. With over 100 years of history since its days as "Shimizuya Ryokan," where Walter Weston, the father of modern Japanese mountaineering, once stayed, we invite you to visit Kamikochi Lemeista Hotel at least once.

“Sawando” means “a place where rivers meet.” In December 1998, Onsen water was brought to this area—long used as a gateway to Kamikochi—and Sawando Onsen was born. Our inn opened five years later, in July 2003. Surrounded by mountains and little else, Keiryuso Shiorie warmly welcomes you.
