“Sawando” means “a place where rivers meet.” In December 1998, Onsen water was brought to this area—long used as a gateway to Kamikochi—and Sawando Onsen was born. Our inn opened five years later, in July 2003. Surrounded by mountains and little else, Keiryuso Shiorie warmly welcomes you. Following the renovation of guest rooms and the restaurant in 2024, our accommodation has been highly praised by guests.
