The Shirahone Onsen Shirafune Grand Hotel is a property boasting open-air baths surrounded by deep mountains at an altitude of 1,400m. Shirahone Onsen, known for the saying "bathing for three days prevents colds for three years," contains carbonic components and is a neutral water gentle on the skin. The panoramic large bath also features a drinking fountain, allowing you to experience the benefits of the water from within. Meals are served in a cozy atmosphere, featuring seasonal delicacies made with carefully selected local ingredients such as Shinshu beef, Azumino herb chicken, and hydroponic vegetables.

The Yumoto Saito Ryokan, with a history of 284 years, is a charming property blending the Shirahone Onsen and the traditional ambiance of Shinshu. The onsen, sourced from its own spring since the Kamakura period, is milky white and is said to be effective for gastrointestinal ailments. All 53 guest rooms are named after notable novelists and poets, offering a serene space for relaxation. Additionally, you can savor Japanese seasonal course meals featuring the bounty of Shinshu's mountains and rivers.

Shirahone Onsen has long been said to keep you from catching a cold for three years after just three days of bathing. At Oyado Tsuruya, instead of the traditional long-stay cure, we offer a modern Onsen retreat that fits into a weekend. Our waters are a milky-white “Silk Bath,” known as one of the gentlest in Shirahone Onsen, with an exceptionally smooth feel on the skin. We provide an easy-to-follow bathing guide even for first-time guests, and suggest ways to enjoy the baths to suit your needs—along with moments of relaxation in our post-bath lounge—so that simply staying here helps you reset. Unwind body and mind tightened by everyday busyness, and experience how much lighter you can feel with a one-night, two-day stay.

The property boasts a milky-white natural onsen and open-air baths available 24 hours. Separate open-air baths for men and women are provided, offering a unique experience of bathing under a starry sky. Dinner is renowned for its hotpot made with natural mushrooms harvested from the local mountains, featuring mushrooms personally gathered by the owner, along with Shinshu's specialty horse sashimi.

Oyado Kodama is a small Onsen Accommodation with just seven rooms. Relax in a quiet setting with clear mountain air and views of Mt. Norikura in the distance. From summer to autumn, it’s an ideal base for trekking and sightseeing around Mt. Norikura, and in winter you can enjoy skiing. Highlights include 100% natural hot spring baths fed directly from the source and homemade meals featuring local ingredients. It is also conveniently located about 20 minutes by car from Sawando Bus Terminal, the gateway to the Kamikochi area.

Additionally, the handmade cypress private open-air bath crafted by the owner is available for free, and on clear nights, you might even witness a sky full of stars.
