Shibu Onsen is a charming hot-spring town known for its atmospheric streets and nine public bathhouses to visit.At “Sakaeya,” you can enjoy gentle, free-flowing Onsen water blended from two different hot springs.Another highlight is the creative Japanese kaiseki cuisine that goes beyond the ordinary.

Located on a hilltop, our guest rooms on the upper floors and the open-air baths on the top floor offer breathtaking views of the majestic mountain ranges of Northern Shinshu. The hotel, located at the foot of Shiga Kogen, is convenient as a base for sightseeing to Zenkoji, Obuse, and Matsushiro. Renowned for its Onsen sourced from the famous Hoshikawa Onsen, it offers abundant water with a soft texture that is highly praised.
