The free-flowing natural hot spring “Golden Bath,” sourced from the foothills of Mt. Ontake, features a large public bath (indoor and open-air) as well as a rare mixed-gender open-air bath. (For mixed bathing, wearing a bathing garment is required.) Surrounded by nature far from the bustle of town, relax at your leisure while taking in the magnificent views of Mt. Ontake.

A small onsen ryokan with 11 rooms standing beside the ancient temple, Kozenji. The room of "Kajitsuan" with an open-air bath offers a healing space overlooking the majestic Southern Alps and the countryside scenery that changes with the seasons. The main building, constructed in the traditional Shinshu architectural style "Hontouguri," is adorned with a nostalgic appearance full of the warmth of wood. We welcome you with smiles and hospitality, just as a relaxing onsen stays.
