The free-flowing natural hot spring “Golden Bath,” sourced from the foothills of Mt. Ontake, features a large public bath (indoor and open-air) as well as a rare mixed-gender open-air bath. (For mixed bathing, wearing a bathing garment is required.) Surrounded by nature far from the bustle of town, relax at your leisure while taking in the magnificent views of Mt. Ontake.

The room of "Kajitsuan" with an open-air bath offers a healing space overlooking the majestic Southern Alps and the countryside scenery that changes with the seasons. The main building, constructed in the traditional Shinshu architectural style "Hontouguri," is adorned with a nostalgic appearance full of the warmth of wood. Ingredients are sourced primarily from local producers in Southern Shinshu, with a highlight being Ibuki Salmon, a unique delicacy raised with snowmelt water from the Central Alps. Breakfast also includes dishes made with buckwheat flour, offering exceptional flavors that will delight soba enthusiasts.
