"Kimuraya" is a Ryokan that was once operated by the representative's grandmother at Kusatsu Onsen. With the hope of becoming a property loved by guests for a long time and allowing them to enjoy the townscape, onsen, and cuisine of Kusatsu Town, we have inherited the name "Kimuraya." Please enjoy blissful moments in a space encompassing the onsen.

At Kusatsu Onsen, there is a hot spring source called "Wata no Yu." The water is soft and gentle, with a milky white color reminiscent of cotton. When you immerse yourself in the "Kusatsu Hotel Annex Wata no Yu," your body and mind will be warmed and healed to the core.

Kusatsu Hotel was established during the Taisho era as a Western-style "Hotel." During the Meiji period, Dr. Bertz, a German medical scientist, praised Kusatsu Onsen, attracting many foreign visitors to Kusatsu. Later, around Showa 27, the hotel was renovated into the current traditional Japanese-style Ryokan, but the name "Hotel" remained. The charm and spirit of hospitality from the Taisho era have been preserved to this day.

Kusatsu Onsen is said to have been discovered during Minamoto no Yoritomo's falconry in Joshu Mihara no Sho, and "Kusatsu Onsen Tenojiyu" served as a guide.
