Kinugawa Onsen × Ranking Of Accommodation With Signature Seafood CuisineHighly rated for dining at Hotel·Ryokan

We stayed in a top-floor room. This hotel truly takes care of everything. Even though it was raining, we enjoyed the open-air bath with a sky-high view, the large public bath, and the in-room hot spring. The variety at the dinner buffet was unlike anything I’ve ever seen. The made-to-order Mont Blanc prepared in the morning was delicious too. The staff were very courteous. The amenities were also exceptionally well stocked, and I debated buying the hot-spring-made cosmetics at the gift shop but decided against it—however, they were so good that I ended up ordering them online. It’s a hotel where one night just isn’t enough. I’d love to book again for my birthday next year! We’ll be back.

A family trip with my parents. I contacted the Ryokan to request Shuttle Service, and they kindly explained everything in detail, which left a great impression from the start. The service, meals, and baths were all excellent, and my parents were truly delighted. At 78, my parent even tried a food for the first time and enjoyed it so much they finished it all. Even after we got home, they kept telling customers about the Ryokan whenever they had the chance since they run a business. I’m glad I was able to take them—it was clearly a very satisfying stay.

My first visit was during last summer vacation. I wanted to get away from the fatigue of working with numbers... The sound of evening cicadas from the mountain right in front of me, and the gentle murmur of the Kinugawa River, were so soothing. There are many types of baths, and the open-air bath—surrounded by the scent of the forest—was incredibly relaxing; it felt like true luxury. For dinner, both the Japanese course meal and the buffet were delicious—I couldn’t be more satisfied. And of course, there’s a breakfast buffet too! I loved this Hotel so much that I’ve come back many times. It’s very easy to access from central Tokyo: it’s about a 5-minute walk from Tobu World Square to reach the Hotel, and there is also a convenient Shuttle Service from Kinugawa Onsen Station. This is my favorite Hotel—one I want to visit in every season.

The meals, the Room’s open-air bath, and the service were all excellent. We were able to fully enjoy a special getaway and relax at our own pace. We would love to visit again!

After staying at Mikazuki Hotel in Chiba (Katsuura and Kamogawa) last year and the year before, we visited Nikko Kinugawa Hotel Mikazuki for the first time this year. With the all-inclusive plan, we could enjoy a welcome lunch right after arrival and use the pool as well, and the kids seemed to have a great time. Both Japanese and international staff provided excellent service, with thoughtful attention throughout, which really impressed us. I was excited about the all-you-can-drink alcohol from the welcome lunch onward, and my wife and grandparents also loved how clean the Hotel was and how good the service was—so we would definitely like to stay again! Thank you very much for taking care of us for two days.

The Onsen area was very spacious, and I was able to relax comfortably. The Room was also large, clean, and comfortable. The buffet selection was plentiful and excellent. I would love to stay again!

Stayed here again. The front desk and staff were from overseas, but they were always smiling and provided pleasant, welcoming service. Some parts of the property feel a bit dated, but there was a happy hour, a variety of dishes beyond hot pot, and drinks as well, so we had an enjoyable time. The open-air bath in the large public bath is on the small side, but it’s comfortable and you can relax at your own pace. It isn’t barrier-free, so it may be challenging for some guests, but I personally really like this hotel and would love to stay again if I have the chance to visit Nikko.

We stayed in a suite Room, and it was exceptionally spacious and spotless!! The buffet meals were outstanding, and my wife and I were both very satisfied!! We’d love to come again!!
